Todd Alexander is a partner at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. His practice includes representing developers, private equity groups and lenders in project financings of energy and other infrastructure projects, including wind, solar, and gas-fired power plants, and fertilizer facilities. He has worked extensively in the United States and Mexico.
In the U.S., he recently represented the lender to a large water desalination project, Eagle Creek Renewable Energy as acquirer of multiple hydroelectric facilities from Verso Paper, and the developer of a gas-fired power facility in PJM. In Mexico, he represented North American Development Bank and Overseas Private Investment Bank as senior lenders to the 150 MW wind farm under development in Tamaulipas, which was named the 2015 “Latin American Wind Deal of the Year” by IJ Global. Last year he represented Buenavista Renewables in connection with the development of a solar park in Chihuahua. He also represented a syndicated of lenders to a 154 MW wind farm in Tamaulipas.
